This is a budget and capacity planning tool. Initial values are examples, not current market quotations or verified electricity tariffs or tax rates. All input prices exclude VAT. When VAT is enabled, CAPEX, energy and taxable other OPEX use their respective scenario rates. Personnel is total employer cost; no VAT is added.

Demand/capacity charges are not derived from average power; contracted/invoiced kW is multiplied by the monthly unit charge and billing months. Rack power is IT load and excludes PUE. The A/B PDU count does not multiply usable rack capacity. U and kW results are aggregate lower bounds; rack placement, cooling, weight, circuit capacity and failure scenarios require separate design.
Optics are priced only in storage/network connection sections. Direct fiber cable is priced there; structured fiber trunks and passive endpoints are priced in the fiber section. DAC/AOC prices cover complete cables, with no separate optics. Copper and independent fiber links are additional to these groups; do not enter the same physical link twice.
Fiber trunk capacity is based on usable strands per cable and strands required per link. The automatic count is a lower bound for links that can share one route. For separate routes, calculate each route and enter the manual total. Purchase allowance increases purchased length; installation length is the actual deployed distance.
Do not price support, licenses, optics, cables or energy already included in vendor or colocation packages again. General facility maintenance is separate from equipment support. Data growth and performance capacity (CPU, GPU, usable TB, IOPS, port speed) are not sized automatically by this cost model.
